 In this week's sermon from 1 Corinthians 9:1-18 we learn that although Paul has certain rights as an apostle he willingly surrenders those rights for the advancement of the gospel and to demonstrate his willingness to serve. He explains all of this in order to provide a Christ-like example for Christians to follow. What about you? Are you willing to follow Paul's selfless example for the sake of the gospel advancing?
 In this week's sermon we looked at what Paul says about singleness and celibacy. We asked and answered three questions,
1. Is a life of singleness and celibacy good or bad? 2. How do you know if you are gifted and called to be single? 3. What is the purpose of singleness?  Getting married or remaining single are both great options for life. In fact, Paul says that both are gracious gifts of God (1 Cor. 7:6). Unfortunately neither can satisfy, fulfill, or give a person ultimate significance in life. Only Jesus can do that. In 1 Corinthians 7 Paul us that the present form of this world is passing away so we shouldn't be defined or controlled by the temporal things of this world (like one's marital status!).
 Sexual temptation is something that most will face and God has given us many things to help us avoid giving in to temptation. One tool at our disposal is accountability relationships. In this week's sermon we look at how accountability works in marriage and other relationships.
